Lots of great fun and educational programs are happening at the Wyomissing Public Library this summer! The library is the perfect destination to enrich your child’s summer with quality programs and events.
Join us from June 17 through August 10 for our 2024 Summer Quest Program (formerly Summer Reading Program), an 8 week program designed to promote the joy of reading and learning after school lets out, and summer vacation begins.
What is the Summer Quest Program?
- The 2024 Summer Quest Program encourages kids & teens to read and learn throughout the summer for FUN. The library offers dozens of programs each month to foster a love of reading, and engage kids in learning. This year’s theme is “Adventure Begins at Your Library.”
How does the Reading Ticket Work?
- Register for the program at the library, or online at https://forms.gle/sv2J7H772MWFosiHA
- Use a reading ticket to keep track of the number of minutes that you read each week by coloring a tent for each 15 minutes. If a grown-up reads to you, that counts, too (hint: Miss Daniella is a grown-up, so come for storytimes)!
- When you color all 4 tents on your reading ticket, turn it in at the circulation desk to receive 1 raffle ticket.
- Raffle tickets may be placed in the prize jar of your choice, located near the circulation desk.
- (1 tent = 15 minutes; 4 tents = 1 completed ticket = 60 minutes of reading)!
What do I get when I turn in my first ticket?
- A free book! When you turn in your first ticket at the circulation desk, you can pick a free book for you to keep.
What can I win?
- Your completed reading tickets allow you to enter the raffles to win cool prizes, such as:
- Amazon gift card, $25 (2 winners)
- GameStop gift card, $25
- Crayola Factory admission tickets, set of 4 (2 winners)
- LEGO Classic Creative Party 750-piece set
- Sweet Ride Ice Cream gift card, $10 (4 winners)
- Razor A+ Scooter with LED lights
- Michaels gift card, $25
- Coleman 2-person GO tent
- Target gift card, $25 (2 winners)

- In addition, each week we’ll raffle off a cool backpack with a special little “something” inside!
When will you announce the winners?
- We will accept tickets through Saturday, August 10, the final day of Summer Quest, when we hold our annual Block Party event!
- Winners will be drawn the week of August 12th. We’ll call you to let you know if you have won!
