Native Plants in the Garden

On Wednesday, May 15th, the Wyomissing Public Library will welcome Penn State Master Gardener Mary Ellen Mahan to talk about native plants and trees. The program, which will begin at 6 PM, is free and open to the public; the library is located at 9 Reading Boulevard in Wyomissing.

Ms Mahan will offer her recommendations for some of the most hardy, attractive & beneficial native trees for Berks County. She will share some of her favorite reference sites to learn more about natives & the birds they attract, and she will share where attendees can obtain many of the recommended trees free of charge.
