In an effort to slow the spread of COVID-19 and keep our community healthy, the library will be closed until further notice. During this time period, all programming at the library building is canceled.

All physical materials currently checked out will not be due until we re-open. Patrons will not be charged overdue fines during the closure, and we ask that patrons keep any materials they have at home until the library opens again.

We are working on expanding our digital collection, online resources, and virtual programs. Please check back periodically for updates.

Meditation for Beginners

Monday, September. 30, 2019   |     6:00 p.m.

Gajendra Santhanam, a volunteer with the global Isha Foundation, will lead this introduction to mental, physical, and spiritual health. In this one hour session you will learn Isha Kriya, a simple 12-18 minute practice, to help you become meditative effortlessly. Isha Kriya requires no previous experience with meditation, and can be done sitting in a chair.
